Submission GuidelinesSPAV - International Journal of Planning and Architectural Science (SPAV - IJPAS), a Bi-Annual journal, aimsto contribute to the enrichment of knowledge by encouraging research on aspects related to built environment and human habitation in general. IJPAS primarily aims to understand, address, assess, discuss and improve issues pertaining to the disciplines of planning and architectural science. It seeks to create an international and interdisciplinary platform for the exchange of ideas and information. The submission guidelines are as below:Manuscript Submission a) Before submitting the manuscript, the author(s) shall ensure the following 1. The manuscript has not been published before and is not under consideration for publication anywhere else 2. The main author has the consent of all co-authors (if any) and the organization where the work has been carried out. 3. For including figures, tables, maps or any material already published elsewhere; the authors are required to obtain permission from the copyright owners. b) It may be noted that the publisher will not be held legally responsible in case of any claims for compensation. c) The maximum word limit of the manuscript is 5000 words, including figures, tables, and references. The abstract shall be limited to a maximum of 200 words. d) A maximum of five keywords shall be provided for indexing. e) Type of manuscript submissions may include research articles, review papers, case studies, book reviews, etc. Reference The journal follows American Psychological Association referencing style manual (7th edition). The manuscripts are to be submitted to editorijpas@spav.ac.in Peer Review ProcessAfter initial screening by the editors, manuscripts deemed appropriate for the journal are sent to two reviewers in a double-blind review process. The decision of the peer review process shall be communicated as follows: Accepted as it is / Minor Revisions needed /Major Revisions needed/ Rejected. The review comments to be incorporated within a stipulated time as communicated by the editor. The overall editorial process shall be taken up by the Editor, in consultation with the Editor-in-Chief. During this process, the Editor may seek the assistance of the Editorial Advisory Board (both internal and external) on need basis. Copyright After the acceptance of the manuscript, a prescribed copyright form is required to be signed by the authors for publication. |
